PCB seeks permission from government for small crowds in PSL6 matches

Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) has sought permission from the governments of Punjab, Sindh, and the Federal authorities to permit small crowds within the stadiums in the course of the matches of Pakistan Tremendous League (PSL) sixth version, in Karachi and Lahore.



On this regard the cricket board has sought permission from the related authorities to grant entry to round 14,000 individuals in every match.



The PCB in its plea to the highest authorities has mentioned, “PCB will guarantee implementation on covid-19 protocols if they're allowed to deliver crowds to the stadium”.



 


The PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani, had earlier mentioned that the board will attempt to persuade the federal government to permit the gang to witness the PSL 6 matches in stadiums.



He had mentioned, “The PSL is a well-known model now and all the nation is happy with its league. Followers at all times supported the PSL and likewise performed a big function in making it successful in each version. On this version as effectively, we'll attempt to persuade the federal government to permit a hard and fast variety of crowd who might watch the matches strictly following the covid-19 SOPs set by the federal government”.

As per PCB’s earlier announcement, the PSL 6 will characteristic 25 foreign players within the Platinum class, together with Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan, Dawid Malan, Dale Steyn, and others akin to Chris Lynn and Dawid Miller.



PSL 6 is scheduled to start from February 20, 2021 at Karachi’s Nationwide Stadium. The Karachi stadium will host 20 matches whereas 14 matches together with ultimate could be performed at Gaddafi Stadium.
